Israeli markets fell at close of trade; TA 35 lost 2.28%

Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Real Estate, Communications and Insurance sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 2.28% to hit a 52-week low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which rose 1.13% or 340.00 points to trade at 30.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was up 0.16% or 120.00 points to trade at 74.00 while Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was steady at 0.00% or 0.00 points to trade at 61.00. .

The worst performers of the session were Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT), down 5.66% or 284.00 points to close at 4.00 at the close. Melisron (TASE:MLSR) is down 5.36% or 1.00 points to trade at 20.00, while Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) is down 5.08% or 45.00 points to trade at 840.00.

While the number of shares that lost value in Tel Aviv Stock Exchange was 415, those that gained value were determined as 50. In addition, 20 stocks remained stable.

Shares of Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) fell 5.66%, or 284.00, to a 52-week low of 4.00. Shares of Melisron (TASE:MLSR) fell 5.36%, or 1.00, to a 52-week low of 20.00. Shares of Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) fell 5.08%, or 45.00, to a 3-year low at 840.00.

Crude Oil WTI Futures for April delivery gained 1.41%, or 1.06, to trade at $76.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities, Brent Oil Futures for May delivery rose 1.24%, or 1.02 percent, to trade at $82.82 a barrel. Meanwhile, Gold Futures for April delivery fell 0.48%, or 8.80, to trade at $1.00 an ounce.

USD/ILS was up 1.07% to trade at 3.66, while EUR/ILS was up 0.62% to 3.87.

Dollar Index Futures were up 0.63% to trade at 105.19.
