Elon Musk mocks Russia
Elon Musk has taken the russian space agency chief’s statement to ti. Russia, which advised the US to fly ‘brooms’, received a response from Musk.
After russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the crisis between the countries moved into space. Russian Space Agency President Dmitry Rogozin has suggested flying “harry potter’s broom”, saying they will not sell rocket engines to the United States. But the response to that statement came from Elon Musk with SpaceX’s latest rocket launch.
Musk’s space company SpaceX launched 47 new Starlink satellites just hours after Rogozin said they would not deliver rocket engines to the United States because of sanctions imposed on Russia and that the United States could use brooms to fly.
What did Elon Musk say about russia’s space chief?
Speaking to Russian state television about the rocket engines, which have been discontinued to the United States, Roscosmos President Rogozin said they would not give “the best rocket engines in the world” to the United States. He also mocked the U.S. for saying it could fly with a broom.
Disturbed by the Russian space chief’s statement, Musk responded by adding four U.S. flag emojis to the tweet featuring SpaceX’s latest launch as “American Broom.”
But this is not the first time Musk has faced Rogozin. Earlier, Rogozin protested Musk’s assistance to Ukraine by offering internet services through Starlink.
Rogozin said Russia is protecting its own national interests and that Starlink and Elon Musk have suddenly emerged. In response, Musk said, “Ukraine was experiencing strange interruptions in its internet connection, perhaps due to bad weather. SpaceX is helping to fix this.”
The Russian space agency has begun to sever ties with other major space agencies. Roscosmos recently announced the end of cooperation with Germany for joint experiments planned in the Russian compartment of the International Space Station.
Outside Germany, Russia said it was suspending its projects with NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA) in retaliation for sanctions imposed by both the United States and European countries.
