Announcing an increase in the number of Flights Between Ukraine and Israel, Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid addressed Israeli citizens in Ukraine.
Lapid said it would be ‘very difficult’ to board a plane and leave the country in the event of a war between Ukraine and Russia, and asked them to return to Israel while the situation was still relatively normal.
Minister Lapid said that the Israeli embassy in Kiev has increased the number of personnel for the return of Israeli citizens and that they can open a missionary in Lviv if necessary.
The United States and Britain have previously appealed to their citizens in Ukraine to leave the country.
