After a 13-year absence, James Cameron is appearing in Avatar: The Way of Water, the 2nd film in the Avatar franchise. Here’s the trailer…
James Cameron’s first Avatar film broke an all-time record in 2009 with a box office gross of close to $3 billion. Now, after 13 years, the sequel to the series, Avatar: The Way of Water, is once again coming out. Here’s the trailer…
Avatar: The Way of Water is in cinemas on 16 December!
The original production was about a blue alien race living on a planet called Pandora. The habitats of these creatures, known as the Na’vi people, were threatened by earthling mining operations. However, this production came up with visual effects beyond its time rather than its issue and collected the awards one by one.
Despite this, Cameron did not make the sequel for a long time. But now we see that he has decided to make a trilogy by shooting one after the other. Accordingly, the third film in the series is expected to be released in 2024.
As for the new film, unlike the previous production, this time we see the Na’Vi on pandora’s shoreline. Besides, there’s too many underwater shots to call Atlantis. We also see that our main characters have 2 children, one human and the other Na’Vi. In addition, there is plenty of familiar faces and dragon-like creatures featured in the last film.
In addition, it will reunite the cast we saw in the original production, including Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, CCH Pounder and Matt Gerald. The cast also included Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Michelle Yeoh, Jemaine Clement, Oona Chaplin, Vin Diesel and CJ Jones.
